It’s been great working with Notre Dame Academy’s Center for Global Leadership as an adviser to their growing program; I’ve really enjoyed getting to know their staff, students and parent community. The collaboration between diverse interests at this all-girls school to advance global competence serves as a great model for how schools with even a modest global footprint can make big strides within one school year. We will present our experience teaching new skill sets and mindsets in “From 21st Century Girls to 21st Century Global Leaders” at the upcoming Educating Girls Symposium, co-hosted by the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools (NCGS) and New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS).
I love that the Notre Dame magazine chose to highlight my message of “Be a friend to the whole human race” for its community … not so sure about that funny picture on the right side of the page, though (!).
